jack²

totally glad that i get to watch this play before it ends like tomorrow with matiin just now. thanks to friends working in this prod for the comp tix. the crowd was sporting and met some familiar faces too. it was a cracking cum funny and typically ching-cia-po jokes, corny at times, who cares coz my friday is well-spent. good view, good seats. i cant wait for more other local productions in line coming soon. hilariously funny.

the hi-tea session yesterday was indeed fun too. meeting up with my other comrades, photo-taking, eating, prize exchange. gossiping, one thing that was missed is the first prize for the lucky dip. im near to win that! if only, but its all good. dinner again @ojolali. yummylicious! then, i was rummaging thru piles of clothes that's on bargain + a chinky lady came up to me; mistook me as the sales person. im so gonna strangle her @that moment. ended up going home with worth-buying stuff when its not even payday yet for me...boohoo!

2007 is indeed shining high + bright. alot more of good acts coming to the lion city. shall i settle for another gig in jan??

case of the pods

this dude: wolf udo wagner

miawolf’s uber–cool nano/shuffle clip - was presented in tokyo alongside 100% Design at the end of 2005 for the first time and were extremely well received. the whole range of products is available in select stores and galleries in tokyo and the ipod clip has already reached cult status in the land of the rising sun and sells out within days.

description: a laser cut sheet of acrylic creates a frame that protects nano/shuffle which is held in place by beautifully simple black silicon bands. the frame itself can then be attached to a bag, or clothing via the attached steel thread.

the opening of the nms presents an opportunity to explore the varying perspectives that contemporary cultural practitioners and artists have adopted in response to issues of tradition and history. interesting events taking place.

i need to set aside some time for it. ive seen good reviews + even ads on it, well received. need i say more, the new one simply appeals to the youthful + arty farty like moi.

let's get out of this country

featuring the very popular hit single 'Lloyd, I'm Ready to be Heartbroken' as well as 'If Looks Could Kill' and 'Let's Get Out Of This Country', scotland's Camera Obscura's newest album is a perfect pop concoction of big catchy tunes and enchanting romantic moments. all songs on the album were written by the talented tracyanne campbell and gorgeously-produced by jari haapalainen (the concretes, ed harcourt, frida hyvonen), featuring a fast-maturing and majestic camera obscura, all ready to embrace the world.

lovingly-packaged in a beautiful digipak with liner sleeves, fruit records' local release of 'Let's Get Out Of This Country' also includes 2 bonus tracks, the country-tinged 'Phil & Don' and the gorgeous 'Roman Holiday', available exclusively only in singapore. 'Let's Get Out Of This Country' (fruit005) is now available this christmas at hmv, straits records, roxy, ignite, wakemeupshop, inokii and all good record stores.
